New Mexico High School Basketball - Espanola Valley holds off Albuquerque Academy
December 3, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87109 The Espanola Valley Sundevils basketball team scored 36 points and limited the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers to 30 in the Sundevils non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sundevils now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael's for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Espanola Valley will confront a Horsemen team coming off a 66-45 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Horsemen record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Albuquerque Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Belen (Belen, NM) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-0.
