New Mexico High School Basketball - Albuquerque Academy defeats Los Alamos
January 14, 2025: Los Alamos, NM 87544 The Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) basketball were winner over the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), 40-27 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Sandia Prep for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Albuquerque Academy will play a Sundevils team coming off a 67-50 non-league loss to West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Los Alamos falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. The Sartans go into the bout with a record of 5-1. St. Pius X won 53-47 in their recent non-league bout against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM)
