The Carroll County Cavaliers basketball squad (Hillsville, VA), was nudged 39-32 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA)

With the victory, Martinsville advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Morehead (Eden, NC) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 7. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 0-3. Morehead lost 54-17 in their recent non-league battle against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)
