The Robinson Maroons basketball squad (Robinson, IL), was nudged 47-41 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL)

With the victory, Richland County advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL) to meet the Wooden Shoes in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 7. The Wooden Shoes enter the battle with a record of 6-1. Teutopolis won 60-44 in their recent non-league battle against Benton (Benton, IL)

The Maroons now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Casey-Westfield for a Little Illini battle on Monday, December 9. Robinson will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 32-25 non-league loss to Altamont (Altamont, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-4.
