Washington High School Basketball - Ilwaco defeats Wahkiakum
December 5, 2024: Ilwaco, WA 98624 The Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA) basketball were winner over the visiting Wahkiakum Mules (Cathlamet, WA), 48-32 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Fishermen now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Ocosta for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 11. Ilwaco will play a Wildcats team coming off a 58-54 non-league win over Pe Ell (Pe Ell, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Wahkiakum falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Mules travel to Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Willapa Valley won 42-41 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia Adventist Academy (Battle Ground, WA)
