In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Ilwaco Fishermen basketball team scored a good 51-41 triumph over the Naselle Comets.

The Fishermen (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Forks (Forks, WA). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 10-2 record.

In their next game, the Comets confront the Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks (Battle Ground, WA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13.
