Washington High School Basketball - Ocosta thwarts Naselle
January 10, 2025: Westport, WA 98595 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ocosta Wildcats (Westport, WA) and the visiting Naselle Comets (Naselle, WA), observed Ocosta's basketball team knock off Naselle by a score of 66-54.
The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Morton/White Pass (Morton, WA). The Timberwolves come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Morton/White Pass prevailed over Winlock (Winlock, WA), 48-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets encounter the Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Naselle will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Fishermen come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 83-31 non-league win over Chief Leschi (Puyallup, WA).
