The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) and the visiting Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), observed Asheboro's basketball team overwhelm Trinity by a score of 55-29.

The Blue Comets (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Thomasville was crushed by Lexington Senior (Lexington, NC), 64-63, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leadership Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 10.
