The Sweeny Bulldogs defeated the host Austin Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 58-45 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 6. Sweeny will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Ricebirds come into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 57-37 non-league loss to Lampasas (Lampasas, TX).
