The Portal Panthers were victorious over the visiting Bryan County Redskins basketball squad by a final score of 58-50 in Friday's league game.

The Panthers now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Montgomery County for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 6. Portal will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 76-71 non-league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

The Redskins (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Liberty County was defeated by Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA), 44-42, in a non-league outing.
