The Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) basketball edged the visiting Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA), 50-49 in Friday's league bout.

The Black Knights now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Midtown for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 6. Central Gwinnett will play a Knights team coming off a 68-45 league win over M.L. King (Lithonia, GA). The Knights record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Mill Creek falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host Dacula (Dacula, GA) to play the Falcons in a AAAAAA Region 8 bout on Friday, December 12. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 7-1.
