In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Rose Hill Rockets basketball team scored a good 62-51 triumph over the Halstead Dragons.

The Rockets (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Garden Plain (Garden Plain, KS). The Owls go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Garden Plain was topped by Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS), 48-33, in a league contest.
