In Friday's non-league contest, the host Stevens Falcons basketball team scored a good 44-35 triumph over the Jay Mustangs.

The Falcons (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was topped by Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX), 76-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, December 9. Jay will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Cowboys go into the game with a 3-7 record after their 61-32 non-league loss to Brandeis (San Antonio, TX).
