Texas High School Basketball - Meridian nips Texas Empowerment Academy

December 5, 2025: Round Rock, TX

In Friday's league contest, the host Meridian Lions basketball team scored a close 56-51 triumph over the Texas Empowerment Academy Panthers.

The Lions (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Founders Classical Academy (Leander, TX). The Archers go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Founders Classical Academy was tipped by Providence Prep (Belton, TX), 61-60, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 6.
