In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Texline Tornadoes basketball team scored a close 55-50 triumph over the Panhandle Panthers.

The Tornadoes (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX). The Mules go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Muleshoe was tipped by Nazareth (Nazareth, TX), 64-33, in a non-league contest.

The Panthers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tulia for a non-league match on Saturday, December 6.
