In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Rio Rancho Rams basketball squad scored a decisive 80-31 victory over the Portales Rams.

With the victory, Rio Rancho upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Rams travel to Artesia (Artesia, NM) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-0. Artesia won 73-20 in their recent non-league match against Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM)

The Rams now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alamogordo for a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. Portales will face a Tigers squad coming off a 62-50 non-league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
