Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) supporters went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the visiting Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 60-33 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, Douglas advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to meet the Greenwave in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 6. The Greenwave enter the battle with a record of 2-0. Churchill County won 59-58 in their recent non-league battle against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV)

The Grizzlies now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Reno for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 6. Galena will encounter a Huskies team coming off a 52-30 non-league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.
