Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Oak Ridge War Eagles (Conroe, TX), 38-24 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Alief Hastings advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Bears travel to Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX) to face the Longhorns in a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 1-9. Hamshire-Fannett lost 62-12 in their recent non-league contest against Bridge City (Bridge City, TX)

In their next game, the War Eagles battle the Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 5. Oak Ridge will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 72-24 non-league loss to Dawson (Pearland, TX).
