Texas High School Basketball - Mission fells Cigarroa

December 5, 2025: Laredo, TX 78046

The Mission Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Cigarroa Toros to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to St. Augustine for a non-league game on Friday, December 5. Mission will confront a Knights team coming off a 92-27 non-league loss to Warren (San Antonio, TX). The Knights record now stands at 1-9.

With the defeat, Cigarroa drops to 8-9 on the year. The Toros travel to Palmview (La Joya, TX) to clash with the Lobos in a 5A Region IV District 30 outing on Tuesday, December 9. The Lobos enter the outing with a record of 3-9. Palmview lost 76-34 in their recent non-league outing against Harvest Christian (Edinburg, TX)
