The Long Creek Dragons (New Braunfels, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Cuero Gobblers (Cuero, TX), 46-28 in Friday's non-league test.

Next, the Dragons encounter the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 6. Long Creek will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Indians/Squaws come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 49-37 non-league win over Gonzales (Gonzales, TX).
