In Friday's non-league contest, the host Stephens County Indians basketball team scored a close 50-48 win over the Oglethorpe County Patriots.

The Indians (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pendleton (Pendleton, SC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Pendleton got by Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC), 37-25, in a non-league match.

The Patriots now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Athens Academy for a A D1 Region 8 match on Tuesday, December 9.
