Match Summary
Coach Andrew's summation of the first 20 minutes as being our least impressive opening quarter of the season lead to a change in our attitude, and the remainder of the half, though scoreless with 2 shots on frame, was a vast improvement. We came out strong after halftime and took the lead just 7 minutes in on Kylie's perfect corner from the left side that went straight to Aubrey's noggin for a beautifully-headed goal from the middle of the six. And it seemed like deja-vue-all-over-again some 7 minutes later when Kylie launched another corner from the same spot--and found Aubrey in the same spot in the middle of the six, where she proceeded to bop in a second goal on another great header. That one turned out to be the game winner when, with 12 minutes to go, Wakulla booted a close-in free kick that Kai got her hands on but couldn't quite contain.
