Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Mattawan nudges Utica
December 5, 2025: Utica, MI 48317 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Mattawan Wildcats ice hockey team scored a close 7-5 victory over the Utica Chieftains.
The Wildcats (7-0) will now prepare for their game against West Ottawa (Holland, MI). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, West Ottawa by Portage Northern (Portage, MI), 5-2, in a non-league game.
The Chieftains now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Ottawa for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. Utica will play a Panthers team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Romeo (Romeo, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
