The Independence tipped the visiting Loudoun County Captains basketball team by a final score of 62-60 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the face the Marina Vikings (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, December 8. Independence will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 10-2 record after their 55-52 non-league win over Riverside (Ashburn, VA).
