Virginia High School Basketball - Loudoun County holds off Loudoun Valley
February 25, 2022: Leesburg, VA 20175 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) and the visiting Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA), saw Loudoun County's basketball squad hold off Loudoun Valley by a tally of 61-57.
With the victory, Loudoun County improves its record to 21-6 on the campaign. The Captains travel to Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to confront the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 4. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 21-5. Glass lost 63-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 4. Loudoun Valley will attempt to improve on its 20-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 23-1 record after their 63-56 non-league win over Glass (Lynchburg, VA).
