Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ), saw Mountain Pointe's basketball squad knock off Desert Vista by a tally of 73-54.

With the victory, Mountain Pointe improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Pride host Basha (Chandler, AZ) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Basha won 89-55 in their recent non-league challenge against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Thunder play the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Desert Vista will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
