Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) and the visiting McNair Eagles (Stockton, CA), saw El Capitan's basketball squad knock off McNair by a tally of 58-45.

With the victory, El Capitan improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Gauchos travel to Central Catholic (Modesto, CA) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Central Catholic won 72-62 in their recent non-league challenge against McNair (Stockton, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Central Catholic Raiders (Modesto, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 7. McNair will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 56-51 non-league loss to Manteca (Manteca, CA).
