The Girard College Cavaliers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Mercy Career & Technical to 57 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maritime Academy Charter for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Girard College will battle a Seadogs team coming off a 64-50 league win over Thomas A. Edison (Philadelphia, PA). The Seadogs record now stands at 2-1.

The (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Barrack Hebrew Academy (Bryn Mawr, PA). The Cougars enter the Penn-Jersey contest with a 0-0 record.
