The Harrisburg Cougars basketball team (Harrisburg, PA), was nudged 39-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA)

The Cougars now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pottsville for a non-league battle on Friday, December 9. Hazleton Area will battle a Crimson Tide team coming off a 58-31 league win over Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 2-1.
