Arkansas High School Basketball - Jasper overwhelms Oark
December 6, 2022: Jasper, AR 72641 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jasper Pirates (Jasper, AR) and the visiting Oark Hornets (Oark, AR), saw Jasper's basketball squad wallop Oark by a tally of 80-38.
With the victory, Jasper improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Alpena (Alpena, AR) to confront the Leopards in a 1A Region 1 East challenge on Friday, December 9. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Alpena won 59-39 in their recent league challenge against Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Mount Judea Eagles (Mount Judea, AR) in a 1A Region 1 East challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Oark will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 42-40 league loss to Deer (Deer, AR).
