Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Laurel Christian Lions (Laurel, MS) and the host Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS), saw Laurel Christian's basketball squad hold off Sylva Bay Academy by a tally of 30-27.

With the victory, Laurel Christian improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Sacred Heart lost 56-26 in their recent league challenge against Collins (Collins, MS)

Next up, the Saints confront the Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Sylva Bay Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
