The Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) basketball crushed the host Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC), 75-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Watauga was trounced by A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC), 79-58, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Smoky Mountain for a 3A Conference 54 test on Friday, December 9. Pisgah will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 74-62 non-league loss to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.
