Virginia High School Basketball - Mountain Mission fells Richlands
December 6, 2022: Grundy, VA 24614 Mountain Mission Challengers (Grundy, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA), 62-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mountain Mission upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Challengers travel to Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Shelby Valley lost 46-44 in their recent non-league game against Paintsville (Paintsville, KY)
With the defeat, Richlands moves to 0-3 on the year. The Blue tornado travel to Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, December 9. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 0-3. Twin Valley lost 68-25 in their recent non-league game against Northwood (Saltville, VA)
