The Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) basketball felled the visiting Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), 72-62 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wolverines (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Highland Tech was beaten by Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC), 70-63, in a non-league test.
