Tennessee High School Basketball - Sweetwater trounces Sequoyah
December 6, 2022: Madisonville, TN 37354 The Sweetwater Wildcats (Sweetwater, TN) basketball crushed the host Sequoyah Chiefs (Madisonville, TN), 68-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Roane County (Kingston, TN). The Yellowjackets go into the 2A District 3 test with a 1-1 record.
The Chiefs now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Austin-East for a 3A District 5 test on Friday, December 9. Sequoyah will encounter a Roadrunners squad coming off a 86-68 non-league win over Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Roadrunners record now stands at 2-1.
