New York High School Basketball - Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake knocked off by Albany

The Albany Falcons basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans to 50 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niskayuna for a Section 2 Suburban contest on Friday, December 9. Albany will meet a Silver Warriors team coming off a 56-50 league loss to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Silver Warriors record now stands at 2-1.

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Troy (Troy, NY). The Flying Horses enter the Section 2 Suburban contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Troy was defeated by Colonie Central (Albany, NY), 67-16, in a league contest.
