The Matanzas Pirates basketball team (Palm Coast, FL), was overwhelmed 49-15 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Tocoi Creek Toros (St. Augustine, FL)

The Toros now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flagler Palm Coast for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 7. Tocoi Creek will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 37-35 non-league loss to Calvary Christian Academy (Ormond Beach, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.

The Pirates (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Menendez (St. Augustine, FL). The Falcons come into the 5A District 4 battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Menendez was overwhelmed by Paxon School For Advanced Studies (Jacksonville, FL), 39-35, in a non-league battle.
