Florida High School Basketball - Matanzas can't hold off Palatka
November 29, 2022: Palm Coast, FL 32137 The Palatka Panthers basketball team scored 27 points and held the host Matanzas Pirates to 25 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beachside for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 30. Palatka will battle a Barracudas team coming off a 73-49 non-league loss to Sandalwood (Jacksonville, FL). The Barracudas record now stands at 3-1.
The Pirates (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Florida School for the Deaf & Blind was nudged by St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL), 32-27, in a league contest.
