North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky River knocked off by Palisades

The Palisades Pumas basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Rocky River CMS Athletics to 32 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pumas now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garinger for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 7. Palisades will face a Wildcats team coming off a 65-28 non-league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Rocky River moves to 2-3 on the year. The Cms athletics travel to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to face the Eagles in a 4A Conference 59 game on Friday, December 9. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-5. East Mecklenburg lost 65-23 in their recent non-league game against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)
