Tennessee High School Basketball - Sequatchie County knocked off by Van Buren County
December 6, 2022: Dunlap, TN 37327 The Van Buren County Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Sequatchie County Indians to 32 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Boiling Springs for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Van Buren County will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-36 non-league win over Trousdale County (Hartsville, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
The Indians (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN). The Warriors enter the 2A District 5 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Bledsoe County was outscored by South Pittsburg (South Pittsburg, TN), 59-31, in a non-league contest.
