Virginia High School Basketball - Charlottesville fells Waynesboro
December 6, 2023: Charlottesville, VA 22901 Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 59-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Charlottesville upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Black Knights host Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Mustangs in a Jefferson bout on Friday, December 8. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Monticello lost 49-28 in their recent non-league bout against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA)
Next up, the Little Giants play the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Waynesboro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Riverheads (Staunton, VA).
