Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln Park fells Taft
December 6, 2023: Chicago, IL 60631 Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 77-65 in a league bout.
With the win, Lincoln Park upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Fremont (Oakland, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Fremont lost 67-42 in their recent non-league bout against De La Salle (Concord, CA)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Lane Tech Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - Red Northwest bout, on Friday, December 8. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Lane Tech go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 72-51 league win over North Lawndale (Chicago, IL).
