January 19, 2024: Chicago, IL 60631 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Clark Eagles (Chicago, IL), saw Taft's basketball squad hold off Clark by a tally of 60-54.
With the victory, Taft improves its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. Glenbrook North won 64-59 in their recent league challenge against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Clark will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Griffins enter the game with a 13-5 record after their 60-50 non-league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL).
