December 3, 2023: Norridge, IL 60706 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) and the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), saw Ridgewood's basketball squad overcome Taft by a tally of 75-67.
With the victory, Ridgewood improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Westmont (Westmont, IL) to confront the Sentinels in a Metro Suburban challenge on Friday, December 8. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Westmont won 79-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - Red Northwest challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Taft will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 56-49 non-league win over Lyons (LaGrange, IL).
