December 6, 2024: Alvin, TX 77511 Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX), 48-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Alvin advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Splendora (Splendora, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-5. Splendora won 58-35 in their recent non-league match against Liberty (Liberty, TX)
The Generals now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galena Park for a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. MacArthur will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 47-40 non-league loss to Channelview (Channelview, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-5.
