North Carolina High School Basketball - West Johnston holds off Corinth Holders

In Friday's non-league contest, the host West Johnston Wildcats basketball team scored a close 64-57 triumph over the Corinth Holders Pirates.

The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Fike (Wilson, NC). The Demons go into the 3A Quad County contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Fike nipped D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC), 71-67, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Corinth Holders will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 67-47 non-league loss to White Oak (Jacksonville, NC).
