December 6, 2024: Derry, PA 15627 Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), 66-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Derry advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Trojans host Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA) to face the Quakers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Quakers enter the match with a record of 2-1. Quaker Valley won 65-29 in their recent non-league match against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA)
The Rams now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laurel Highlands for a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. Ligonier Valley will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 83-54 non-league loss to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
