Tennessee High School Basketball - Elizabethton overwhelms Johnson County
December 6, 2024: Mountain City, TN 37683 The Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones basketball team scored 85 points and limited the host Johnson County Longhorns to 49 in the Fighting Cyclones non-league triumph on Friday.
The Fighting Cyclones now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Science Hill for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Elizabethton will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 82-38 non-league win over Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Johnson County falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Longhorns host South Greene (Greeneville, TN) to confront the Rebels in a 2A District 1 game on Tuesday, December 10.
