New Mexico High School Basketball - Espanola Valley holds off Wingate
December 6, 2024: Espanola, NM 87532 The Espanola Valley Sundevils basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Wingate Bears to 52 in the Sundevils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Sundevils now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mesa Vista for a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. Espanola Valley will confront a Trojans team coming off a 67-52 non-league win over Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Wingate falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7.
