In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Holdenville Wolverines basketball team scored a close 61-60 win over the Little Axe Indians.

The Wolverines (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against McLoud (McLoud, OK). The Redskins come into the 66 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, McLoud edged Okemah (Okemah, OK), 78-65, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Wayne Bulldogs (Wayne, OK) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Little Axe will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
